Re: How to show birthdays defined in KAddressbook in KOrganizer

Hi,

I already added an Akonadi Resource to KOrganizer. In the Calendars field it shows "akonadi calendar" which is the only resource and is selected. When I expand the tree, it shows two entries std.ics (which I think is strange, but I cannot delete one of them, when I try it I get a message box saying I cannot remove my standard calendar). The first std.ics is selected. When I right-click the akonadi calendar and select "Show info" I get:

Type: Akonadi Calendar Resource

std.ics
Status: Syncing collection 'akonadi_ical_resource_0' (Online)

std.ics
Status: Ready (Online)

I also found error messages in the mysql server log:

Could this be the reason why adding birthdays and aniversaries does not work?

How do I actually add Birthdays & Anniversaries in the Akonadi resource? I did not find any way to do this, but I don't know Akonadi at all, so I might have looked at the wrong places.

I would be glad if someone can give me some hints how to solve this,

thanks,

Michael
