Hi all,
Please CC me if anybody takes this further. Martin yes I have
okular-backends installed. I saw your reply at
http://lists.debian.org/debian-kde/2012/03/msg00075.html but as I'm
not subscribed to the list and was suggested by Pino Toscano #664183
hence posting it here first.

$ apt-show-versions -a okular-extra-backends
okular-extra-backends 4:4.7.4-2 install ok installed
okular-extra-backends 4:4.4.5-2 stable   ftp.debian.org
okular-extra-backends 4:4.7.4-2 testing  ftp.debian.org
okular-extra-backends 4:4.7.4-2 unstable ftp.debian.org
okular-extra-backends/testing uptodate 4:4.7.4-2

Please lemme know if anything else needs to be figured out.
