GASTRONOMIC & CULINARY TOUR IN TUSCANY
Day 1: Arrival
Arrival at the hotel in Chianciano Terme. Check-in and free time for relaxation. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 2: Montepulciano - Pienza – tot: km 21,7
Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to Montepulciano to visit the town and a comparative wine cellar (Cantina del Redi) one of the oldest canteen in Italy. Free time for lunch. In the afternoon travel to Pienza to visit the old town stop in a local farm factory to visit the production of the “pecorino cheese di Pienza” typical cheese of the area very famous in the world . Return to hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 3: San Quirico d’Orcia - Montalcino – Monteroni d’Arbia – tot: Km 65,4
Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to San Quirico d’Orcia to visit the old town after transfer to Montalcino for a visit to the factory of Brunello wine, free time for lunch. In the
afternoon travel to Monteroni D’Arbia visit to the old Village . Return to hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 4: Monte Vibiano – Chianciano Terme – tot: Km 49,7
Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to Monte Vibiano to visit the canteen of Castle Monte Vibiano Vecchio, at the arrival it will be organized a tour in jeep zero CO2 emission in the vineyard of the company after that the visit carryon with the canteen cellar where will be showed the process of wine. Free time for lunch. Afternoon travel to Chianciano and visit of an old mill where will be showed the process of olive oil production. Return to hotel dinner and overnight.
Day 5: Siena (kitchen school) – tot: Km 79,6
Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to Siena town of the “Palio” and old culture. Meeting with the culinary school of Lella where will be showed how to prepare some typical pasta of Siena and some typical dish. Lunch. Afternoon visit of the town the Battistero, the Piazza and one contrada. Return to hotel dinner and overnight.
Day 6: Chianti area (Greve, Radda ) - tot: Km 124
Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to Greve in Chianti with a stop at the Museo del Vino (wine Museum) where it will be showed the very first production of Chianti. Free time for lunch. Afternoon stop in Radda in Chianti visit of the old Town. Return to hotel dinner and overnight.
Day 7: end of the service
Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to the way back. End of the service.
