Disable KDE Notifications during Presentations

Hello,

I noticed today, that KDE 4.4.5 notifications are even displayed when 
presenting with OpenOffice (kmail was unhappy with some mailserver).

Is there a way to disable the display of all notifications during a certain 
period of time (or better display only really important ones, like battery low 
indications...)?
