Re: XDMCP login
Because it seemed, that no one but me having those problems -
once again I tried to update my debian SID box - but it happened again.
After installing:
Inst kdm [4:3.5.8.dfsg.1-1] (4:3.5.8.dfsg.1-2 Debian:unstable)
I'm no longer able to login via XDMCP, regardless of using my modified
kdmrc or the dpkg-dist default one.
I had to manually downgrade (install) the previously used kdm_4%3a3.5.8.dfsg.1-1_i386.deb to be able to login via XDMCP again.
But now, when I'm up to install any other package or make an upgrade,
apt will complain:
kdm: Depends: kdebase-bin (= 4:3.5.8.dfsg.1-1) but 4:3.5.8.dfsg.1-2
is installed
The same happened today also with another debian SID box here -
Really no one else with same problems out there?
Any help would be appreciated
Hermann
