In my opinion, yes. I did the full upgrade thing and it's working 
fine. That was a couple days ago, so you should be fine now.

I'm pleased that the automatic configuration of xorg is getting more 
and more accurate. The only thing I had to was comment out the 
synaptics touchpad entry so that it would work better. The cursor was 
moving about 20 times too slowly, and the standard mouse input works 
fine.
