the debian-users list.

The Linksys 802.11b cards have worked every time, with nothing but
standard configs and standard kernel drivers. You really can't go
wrong with 802.11b if you stick to the major brands.

If you want to go 802.11g, the madwifi drivers may drive the cards,
but I cannot help you more that that. I have a Linksys 802.11g pcmcia
card that I have not tried installing yet.

Debian packages the madwifi drivers, but they're not free so you have
to compile them yourself.
