Basically, everything in there is configurable, I'd guess. Doing it
via debconf is a no-no anyway, because debconf is not intended for
stuff that can have a reasonable default.

Oh, I see. I haven't seen this happen, but it's very possible that
something goes wrong wiht loading a session that was saved by an older
konqueror version.
