Aha!  Didn't know it was there.  Unfortunately, as described in
another message, control certainly is currently unusable for me.
What's more, in my wandering through ~/.kde, I didn't discover where
it stores its settings (at least the font ones).  Are they kept under
konqueror? 

P.S. to all: the debian-kde@lists.kde.org was a thinko on my part;
ignore it.  I meant lists.debian.org.
