Temporarily disable KDE screensaver [script]

Hello all,

I was getting tired of every time having to disable my screensaver when
watching a DVD or when playing some games.
Some recent postings on this list gave me an idea for a solution.

The attached script can be included in the command line (in the Menu Editor)
for programs for which you wish to temporarily disable the KDE screensaver.

It will deactivate the screensaver while the program is running. It can be
called for more than one program and will only reactivate the screensaver
when the last of those programs has ended.

See the comments in the script for details on usage.

Have fun.

FJP

Note: The script is provided as is and may off course be used and distributed
freely.
