Re: kde xfree86 experimental
No help to offer, but I can confirm that KDE seems much slower running
under the experimental XFree86-4.3 version than it did under XF-4.21.
e.g., Konqueror takes three or four times longer to start up in KDE
than in uwm|fluxbox|xfce|...
