Non-KDE apps too small.

Hi
I have a debian with kde 3.1.2 (unstable) and XFree 4.3.0-0ds3v1installed.
Screen resolution is 1280x1024 24bit colors.

All seems OK, but when I run some non-KDE apps (such as "load file" on xmms,
or xmule, or The GIMP, or pyslsk) all text is too small and I can not read
it. I think this happens only with GTK apps (I have no prob with xcalc), but
I don't know enough non-KDE apps to compare, and to be sure.

Mozilla looks fine, and Nautilus, XMMS itself (not the "load files" menu),
galeon...

How could I be sure this happens with GTK apps? If so, how could I make the
default font bigger?

Thank you
