I am running kde 2.2 here with Woody's mozilla and:
 java -version
java version "1.3.1"
Java(TM) 2 Runtime Environment, Standard Edition (build Blackdown-1.3.1-FCS)
Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build Blackdown-1.3.1-FCS, mixed mode)

The only browser that will run this is netscape 4.77. Konq ran once but did
not display the java graphical "start" button. Mozilla didn't run it at all.
 shrug
