Yes, it works this way. The dock app can now make it disappear from the 
taskbar. But it also adds an unnecessary frame around it that kstart cannot 
get rid of because it lacks such an option (which should also address all 
subwindows like playlist and equalizer).

*sigh* KDE really is far from perfect...
