Sorry, first of all, I have used reply and not reply to all, so this e-mail
hasn't been sent of the mailing list.
I'm sure that the problem was not already present with the kernel 2.4.14, but
I don't know if the problem come from the kernel or from KDE (I have done the
upgrade the same day).
As you mentioned, since you use a 2.4.14 kernel, it is not kernel related.
We use different type of hard disk (SCSI and IDE), so it doesn't come from
hard disk.
So I think it comes probably from kde, but doing a downgrade is very long and
it may have some dependecy problems.
