At least for Debian, I would talk to Ivan. He already has kpilot split out
into it's own package, so updating it shouldn't be a big deal. He can be
reached either on debian-kde@lists.kde.org, or at rkrusty@tdyc.com. In fact,
I'll cc: this message to debian-kde for you :-)
Oh, and Ivan, any time you want more of your time volunteered for you without
your permission, I'm here for you, babe B-) In other words, if you're too
busy to pick this up as well, I'll look into seeing what has to be done, but
no gauruntees that the resulting package will be up to your high standards...
