[sign] cannot handle large messages (for some nonobvious reason)
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----
Hash: SHA1
Package: kmail
Version: 4:2.1.1-7
Severity: important
I'm trying to send a large message with kmail. The automatic signing
option is checked, so kmail runs gpg when I press send mail. Although it
works for smaller messages, for this message the gpg process just hangs there
and when I kill it only a small portion of the text will be visible and
signing will not have been completed. I've copied the same text to a file and
that file I can clear sign easily using gpg. I suppose the only significant
difference between this and other mails was the size so it might be due to
erroneous buffer management. However, the bug is present and I request other
people to try to replicate this bug.
FYI, the message was 13887 bytes long.
Thanks,
