Games/Fonts/Other settings

Hey Folks,
I don't know how this mail will appear to you all, but to me it's in some
god-awful font, that I'm really very very unimpressed with. :--)
Anyhow, just did the apt-get update/grade and found a massive amount of
'stuff' changed in KDE. Fonts are 'different' now. And I can't find my
good-ole Times NewRoman anywhere. Or Ariel. What am I missing?
What happened to the games? kmahjongg is gone as are all the rest. Really
strange!
The OTHER SETTINGS I'll ask about on a later date. But the font/game
business is my greatest concern.
