Well, I wouldn't start pointing fingers quite yet.  I have the same problem 
(crashing nsplugin viewer) but no nVidia, just an old ATI Rage128 Pro.  It 
could still be the gl-related stuff, I'm not ruling that out, but it happens 
with more than just your card.  If you want to send me the qt package you 
made without gl support, I'll try it out and see if it gains me anything.
