URL? Maybe we can see/reproduce the problem (or maybe not)?

A lot of things :) Method one: on both hosts
o E.g., has www.debian.org the same problem? If this is okay
check the HTML sources of the webmail IF and search for fonts
o Are both xservers using the same dpi setting (-dpi 100)
o are the font path the same (xset q | tail)
o if fontservers are used. Are they running? Are the config files
identical?
o has netscape the same problem as konqueror?
o create a test user. Run: unset QT_XFT; konqueror &
o are the available fonts the same (output of xlsfonts; fslsfonts)
Method two: install the deb with TT fonts from Microsoft on woody, use AA, select
Arial and Courier New and be really happy (no smiley here).

To me vi is Zen. To use vi is to practice zen. Every command is
a koan. Profound to the user, unintelligible to the uninitiated.
You discover truth everytime you use it.
