I'm here with an K6-2 350MHz, 256MB RAM and I'm satisfied. Yes, tables are
not the strength of Konqueror, yet, but did you see the IE <=3.0 ? It really
was less usable. I think it still has to sort the way a page should be built
up. However, that depends on the way the page was programmed. If you have no
fixed width of the table columns and the size attribute of an image was left
out, how do want to guess what comes? IE does not display anything until it
knows, konq. does and changes it a bit while getting more information.
Here Konqueror starts in 8 seconds. Netscape needs 10. Did not test IE
because it seems unavailable within my linux environment ;)
However I did test the stuff on an P233, 64MB. KDE2.1 need awfully long to
load but then it is just as fast as on K6-2.
