No...his problem is the other problem that has been discussed here...

Note the "I've got Debian GNU/Linux 2.2r2 / KDE 2.0.1 / XFREE 3.3.6"...he's
not running unstable/sid...he's running the 2.0.1 version of KDE on potato
and he updated his qt package.
