one more thing for potaot 2.1 users
Hi,
I have one more favor for all of you who will be trying out the 2.1
KDE packages for potato and that is to submit any wishlist and or bug reports
you find sooner rather than later. Verify that there is no report in
bugs.debian.org or bugs.kde.org and submit it. One of the main reasons I've
spent so much time creating packages for woody/potato instead of waiting for
release is that I want stability. :) You all are guinnie pigs. I received
some flak from woody users who lost functionalitiy with the 2.1 upload...tough!
The developers need to know where things are broken so they can get it it
fixed...AND they also need help fixing what's broken.
I'm going to say this now...Don't bother reporting bugs to me for 2.0.1
packages as I no longer have a way of building them easily. My potato box
has moved on to building 2.1 packages and there it will stay (otherwise I
have the potential of screwing up my wifes computer and that wouldn't be
pretty). So, with that said, unless you prepare your own packages and report
the bugs directly to kde I don't wanna see it hit bugs.debian.org. Now, be
my guest in dumping it to this list so we can find out if it was fixed in 2.1
or not.
I really hate doing that but I only have so many computers and so much time. :)
