I think that upstream have done a bit of work to help here. This appears to
be what we need to package:
https://github.com/ckeditor/ckeditor5-dev
Then that'll build the various ckeditor5 packages.
I don't know too much about how these packages are built. Do all the
devDependencies mentioned in package.json need to be in Debian already?
Most, but not all, are present. But the versions largely don't match.
The great news from my point of view for Request Tracker 6 is that my
upstream now just use the pre-built ckeditor5 packages and apply their
configuration to it. In the past they patched ckeditor4. This means that
once we have ckeditor5 in Debian, I can use that.
