Apache Tomcat/4.1
So I loaded the older version again but the error remains:
Now my tomcat-users.xml is this:
<?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>
<tomcat-users>
<role rolename="tomcat"/>
<role rolename="role1"/>
<role rolename="standard"/>
<role rolename="manager"/>
<user username="tomcat" password="tomcat" roles="tomcat"/>
<user username="role1" password="tomcat" roles="role1"/>
<user username="both" password="tomcat" roles="tomcat,role1"/>
<user username="somebody" password="someword" roles="standard,manager"/>
</tomcat-users>
Maybe it has something to do with the permission of the file?
These are the permissions of the tomact-conf diretory:
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 8180 2005-05-19 14:36 catalina.policy
-rw-r--r-- 1 tomcat4 nogroup 778 2005-02-02 11:09 jk2.properties
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 23 2005-04-25 10:45 server.xml ->
/etc/tomcat4/server.xml
-rw-r--r-- 1 tomcat4 nogroup 444 2005-05-19 14:36 tomcat-users.xml
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 20 2005-04-25 10:45 web.xml ->
/etc/tomcat4/web.xml
Can anybody help me again ;-)
Thank you
Gruss Christian
