Ciò premesso nell'applet network-manager (network-manager-gnome - ho
installato MATE come ambiente grafico) non appare nessuna dispositivo di
rete wifi ed inoltre

In [1] si dice che per kernel 4.4-rc2 va applicata una patch al kernel, ma
uname -a

per cui penso che non debba applicare la patch (o sbaglio??).

Come posso "vedere" l'interfaccia di rete wifi??

Come detto nella mia precedente e-mail avevo provato ad eseguire l'installazione del driver come suggerito nel link [1] che avevo già riportato.

Indagando ulteriormente in [2] si fa riferimento alla directory

/lib/firmware/ath10k/QCA9377/hw1.0/

che dovrebbe contenere i file necessari al funzionamento della scheda wireless, ma verificando sul mio disco non ho trovato quella directory, e al suo posto era presente

/lib/firmware/ath10k/hw1.0/

Visto che i messaggi di errore che ho segnalato riportavano l'impossibilità di prendere i file .bin da ath10k/QCA9377/hw1.0/, ho provato a creare in ath10k la cartella QCA9377 ed al suo interno ho spostato hw1.0 e al riavvio è comparsa "finalmente" l'interfaccia di rete senza fili.
