Installing DEB packages[1]

On Ubuntu, and other systems that use the Debian package scheme, you can install MySQL Workbench using a command such as:

shell> sudo dpkg -i package.deb

Note that package.deb will be the MySQL Workbench package, for example, mysql-workbench-oss-version_i386.deb, where version is the MySQL Workbench version number.

Quindi "non dovresti ?/?" avere problemi nell'installare il pacchetto già pronto per ubuntu
(mysql-workbench-gpl-5.2.30-1ubu1010-i386.deb[2])

Oppure quì --> http://people.debian.org/~nobse/mysql-workbench-oss/

Ti ringrazio...il mio dubbio era proprio capire se il .deb per Ubuntu potesse funzionare senza far danno

Aggiungo una nuova domanda: come è WorkBench? c'è di "meglio" per MySQL?
