Quasi tutto quello che ho è 32 bit, tranne, ad esempio, maglev e java:

(java funziona, ho compilato un helloworld e stampa in effetti hello world...)
Mi piacerebbe capire come devo muovermi, se e quanto (e come) 32 e 64
possono convivere: ad esempio, ho provato a scaricare firefox64 (dal
sito mozilla) e netbeans (dal sito netbeans), ma entrambi chiedono a
gran voce la versione 64bit delle librerie; che faccio? posso
installarle, ad esempio, in /usr/local/lib?
Posso tutto a migrare a 64bit?
