logcheck mail logs not sent anymore by nullmailer

I used logcheck nullmailer on debian sarge and everyting used to work
big time !
I now passed to etch and logs are not sent anymore , this problem has
some obscure reason also because configuration of thede two servers are
quite easy , firewall is ok and i don't know where else i shuld look for
trouble shooting this , thanks !!!
