I package Debian hanno problemi con xml che è il fulcro dell'OAF system
(il pisellonzo che sostituisce GNORBA in Gnome2).
Innanzitutto controlla che OAF sia installato correttamente (prova un
dpkg-reconfigure).
Poi prova, sempre con l'opzione -t experimental a usare 'gnome' anzichè
'gnome2' (pare abbiano rinomiato i pacchetti).

Nel caso puoi chiedere informazioni sulla ml in inglese dedicata a
Gnome: i pacchetti sono *molto* esperimental.
Io ad esempio ho l'help system malfunzionante sempre per casini con xml,
non ho segnalato perchè il baco è straconosciuto.
