down below at the end of the email you see a some
party of my /var/log/messages
i have installed many disks in a server - (for
development) and i am not sure why i become these errors
the error could occure due to
-a to less power - i have a 350 W atx p4 ready
powersupply and these disks running
3xIC35L060AVER07-0
2xIC185
1xMaxtor 120 GB no idea what model (i have
disconnected it right now)
1xST330630A 1xWDC WD136AA1x CDROM
could it be that i have to less power? what do you
mean? how powerfull are your supplies?
-b hdparm -c1 -d1 on alle /dev/hda -
hdh
if its that, possibly the motherboard or the drives
are screwing something up (timing issue, or what ever)
-c my kernel makes a mess
standard boot up from cd

make no difference, both made get these
errors
-d or smartd screws something up
meanwhile i have disabled hdparm and i have
disconnected 2 drives (for less power consume) smartd is still
running
can you tell me waht you think
