Gated and Zebra in one AS

 hello,

I'm a beginner in routing an I have question:
 can I in one Autonomous System use different dynamic daemons(gated and
zebra). Example on aix zebra will not work, but gated will. On OpenBSD
will work zebra and I more like zebra then gated. Will be ok if I'll run
ospf or bgp-4 between different routing daemons?
