It surely will work with your configuration as long as the generated
html pages are somehow "static" i.e. you don't place a "don't cache" meta-tag
inside the header of the HTTP response.

This script is probably the bottleneck. Can you tune it ?

Try to enable /server-status and then consider if maybe the CPU is simply
