If he want to use OpenVPN, yes. Gert patchset sit on top of OpenVPN and don't
touch the OpenSSL core. OpenVPN utilize the OpenSSL core directly and no
network protocol functionality is ever touched.
The major users of OpenSSL use OpenSSL at this level and therefore no actual
effort is spend to make remaining components IPv6 aware.
