But my problem has changed... I am not sure what was causing the earlier problem, but now I am getting the correct behavior UNTIL I add this firewall rule: ip6tables -t mangle -A OUTPUT -j MARK --set-mark 0x02/0x0f (I tried it without the mask also.) With that rule in place, I get the "no IPv6 routers present" kernel message. That is the only rule, no other iptables or ip6tables rules exist and all default policies are ACCEPT. Normally, I use that rule for traffic shaping (CLASSIFY). Ideas? Thanks.
