Hi, I'm investigating the work needed for debian-installer to be IPv6 ready. Loading ipv6 modules works, adding a sit0 interface; however how do I get an IP interface to work? It "just works" on woody, etc. I suspect that this might be related to the ipconfig used in d-i being the busybox-cvs version. ( For it to work, I think that I need to check: - "DNS" works - resolving AAAA addresses and using them - anna, the apt substitute, is IP-version-agnostic. - Test against IPv6 HTTP / FTP servers ) -- Alastair McKinstry <mckinstry@computer.org> GPG Key fingerprint = 9E64 E714 8E08 81F9 F3DC 1020 FA8E 3790 9051 38F4 He that would make his own liberty secure must guard even his enemy from oppression; for if he violates this duty he establishes a precedent that will reach to himself. - --Thomas Paine
