Guess I'm ahead of time :) Apparently it's not in de rfc document
series yet.

draft-ietf-dnsext-aaaa-a6-01 proposes the move to historic. We'll see
what happens. But let's for all sake not redo the A6/AAAA discussion
once again...
 
Regarding ip6.arpa vs. ip6.int, rfc3152 is very clear about this.
