Hmm, they've changed it back to what it should be, ok i'll update it.

I seem to recall "The great default route saga" a few months back where
it was generally decided, due to some ahh... quirks with the kernel
hackers that default routes just didn't work.

Has that changed?

This would be so your downstreams talk to that address?
I haven't really covered downstream networks.
