I wouldn't go into all that crud but do something like this
ifconfig eth1 add 3ffe:0400:0100::20/64
route -A inet6 add 3ffe::/16 gw 3ffe:0400:0100::1
Or if you like the ip command:
ip addr add 3ffe:0400:0100::20/64 dev eth1
ip route add 3ffe::/16 via 3ffe:0400:0100::1
