Bug#1080290: ibus-pinyin: Cannot type in Chinese if layout before ibus-pinyin is not English
Package: ibus-pinyin
Version: 1.5.0-10
Severity: important
Tags: patch
X-Debbugs-Cc: mr.alexander.rusakevich@gmail.com
Dear Maintainer, ibus-pinyin is unusable when layout before Chinese is not
English. I have the following layouts: English, Russian and Chinese, when I
alt-shift to Chinese I can type Russian letters only, and thus pinyin
suggestions panel won't appear.
Workaround: change /usr/share/ibus/component/pinyin.xml
<layout>default</layout>
to
<layout>cn</layout>
