I have imported your packaging work into https://sa.sa.debian.org/input-method-team/fcitx5-varnam , applied a minor patch at https://salsa.debian.org/input-method-team/fcitx5-varnam/-/commit/2636f1ecaf86678fe2d780b9ed6dcbcfaf5955b9 , and uploaded your package for initial review by Debian FTP Masters. You should now have write permission to https://sa.sa.debian.org/input-method-team/fcitx5-varnam . Since this package has been uploaded for initial review, I am closing this ITP bug (#1072274) together. We can discuss more after the package gets accepted or rejected by Debian FTP Masters.
