Would it be possible to backport
https://github.com/ibus/ibus/commit/8ce25208c3f4adfd290a032c6aa739d2b7580eb1
in the debian package, this might be blocking for the upgrade of
gnome-shell to 3.36.
This is needed so ibus is working fine with gnome-shell 3.36 as wayland
compositor.
I only tested the patch with gnome-shell 3.36, not with the previous
versions.
