ibus: Maybe bug on Debian 10 with unkown origin

Hello,

I am asking on the mailinglist instead of opening a bug report because
there are still a lot of (non-debian) bug reports open and maybe there
is an open debian bug report with a nerdy-technical-subject I do not
understand but related to all this.

If not I would open an official bug report if you want.
With this mail I try to summarize the current discussion on the topic
to find out if this is all the same or different problems.

On my machine (Debian 10) IBus (Japanese input via Anthy) not working
with Anki (upstream version) and JabRef (upstream also). (Nearly) all
other applications (e.g. Mousepad, Terminator terminal, Firefox, ...)
are working fine on my machine.

I did test the environment variables as mentioned in some posts about
that problem. Currently there is no idea about the origin of my problem.

Here are some references might help
