I would like to confirm your performance test condition.
Does your /etc/default/im-config have "IM_CONFIG_WAYLAND=enable" set
(uncommented)?
If not, I would like to see the difference between the result you have
shown (with "IM_CONFIG_WAYLAND=disable")
and the one with "IM_CONFIG_WAYLAND=enable".
