The tarball from the very upstream: https://download.fcitx-im.org/fcitx-sunpinyin/fcitx-sunpinyin-0.4.2.tar.xz gives a 42984 bytes archive and the hash is the same as the one currently in the VCS and was pgp-signed by upstream. It looks like the archive now contains a different tarball. I extracted those two tarballs, made a recursive diff and found no content difference between them. Perhaps the best plan is to keep the status quo and use the one different from upstream tarball. I have made two more commits onto pristine-tar branch to replaced the old tarball (with "git revert HEAD" and "pristine-tar commit ../ fcitx-sunpinyin_0.4.2.orig.tar.xz upstream/0.4.2").
