[Pkg-ime-devel] Bug#746976: ibus-xkbc: Should not hardcode python version
Package: ibus-xkbc
Version: 1.3.3.20100922-4
Severity: important
/usr/lib/ibus/ibus-setup-xkbc has:
exec python2.6 /usr/share/ibus-xkbc/setup/main.py $@
This is bad practice to start with and this now brakes since there is no
python2.6 in the upcoming release.
Now that ibus ships with this functionality, it may be better to remove
this package than fixing this bug. Let's see others object my
suggestion.
Regards,
Osamu
