I am wondering that this "static" requirement is really needed by the way
scim program is written or this is some kind of work around for the
limitation of gcc-4.0 bug? If it is latter, I like this patch to be
only applied for amd64. (It can be either the use of ifdef in C++ code
or architecture specific dpatch activation with DPATCH_OPTION_CPP=1. If
it is needed logically for all architecture, please keep it as it is.
