Bug#771642: ruby-standalone: Mistakenly leads translators into thinking there is debconf-related material to translate

Package: ruby-standalone
Severity: normal
Tags: l10n

(please note that fixing this l10n-related bug report qualifies for a
freeze exception, in case this package is targeted for jessie)

ruby-standalone includes a debian/po directory even though there are
no debconf templates used in the package. This mistakely leads
translators into thinking that there is something to translate. There
are indeed high chances that you receive bug reports with such
translations.

However, I see that the package apparently doesn't use debconf, so
this debian/po directory is indeed useless...and should just removed.

I suggest you do so as soon as possible to avoid wasting l10n efforts.
It would be deeply appreciated.

Thanks in advance and thanks for your packaging work.
