I attach my current patch against the original lxc.templates.
Some but not all of our modifications to the package descriptions have
already been applied. The one part that still worries me there is the
claim that containers each have
their own namespace for filesystem, network, PID, IPC, CPU and
Ignoring the question of Serial Comma, it's not clear what this means,
exactly. If there were a few more plural endings, it would make sense
as a slightly abbreviated way of saying:
their own namespace for file systems, for networks, for PIDs, for
IPC, for CPUs, and for memory-allocation
but without the plural endings that doesn't work, and the only thing I
can see that's grammatical is to interpret it as short for:
their own namespace for file system allocation, for network
allocation, for PID allocation, for IPC allocation, for CPU
allocation, and for memory allocation
"Filesystem allocation" sounds implausible, but if that really is what
it's trying to say it would anyway be better off phrasing it as
something more like:
their own namespace for allocation of file systems, networks, PIDs,
IPC, CPUs, and memory
