The correct form would be: "Since kernel using ..."
and in the second line: "... /etc/lilo.conf for boot and root ..."

Sorry, I had removed all fuzzy hints in the files while updating. You are
right, the sense have slightly changed. The point "8 MB" is not correct,
this point would be more complex to declare.
